North Brunswick’s Public Works Director Meeting
Dick Fowler, the director of Public Works for North Brunswick, met with the Riverbend Board members to discuss snow removal concerns raised in our letter directed to Mayor Spaulding. Riverbend Drive is a township road and, as a result, is maintained by the township -this includes snow removal when necessary.
Mr. Fowler voiced his appreciation to residents who moved their cars from Riverbend Drive in anticipation of the snowfall that never panned out earlier this year. The discussion went well and served to outline potential measures in the event of sizable storms in future. The township agreed to provide a plan for the plowing and parking process within Riverbend. In addition, Mr. Fowler agreed to have Riverbend Drive swept by the township. In the future, the township will be posting “no parking signs” to facilitate the sweeping process.
