Board of Trustees Letter
January 8, 2004
Dear Riverbend Homeowners:
We would like to wish our neighbors and friends in the community a healthy I happy and safe New Year.
The colder weather has now set in, and we would like to remind you that snow removal services in the community are performed when the snow accumulation is greater than 2 inches. This service usually begins when the snowstorm is over, unless it is a large storm. Please ensure that you have an ice-melt product in your home to be used for minor accumulations or ice patches around your home. We can all be proactive and ready to help ourselves should the need arise for temporary minor conditions.
You should also be aware that owners in the community have experienced frozen pipes on occasion. Please ensure that your heat is set no lower than 65°, especially if you go on vacation during the winter months.
As a reminder, our association permits tasteful exterior holiday decorations to be installed. However, these are required to be removed 10 days after the holiday season. If you have not yet removed the exterior holiday lights on your home or on the exterior landscaping, wreaths and other greenery, or any other type of exterior decoration from the holiday season that has recently passed, please ensure that you take care of it now.
The Township of North Brunswick picks UP Christmas Trees. Please leave them on the road next to the curb on Riverbend Drive only. The Township will not pick up any trees that are put out on the courts outside your garage door. Please do not leave them on the lawn areas. They will remain there all winter until the association’s landscaper begins work in April.
Lets all hope for a mild winter.
Very truly yours,
Board of Trustees
Riverbend Townhouse Owner’s Association
