Where’s the Playground Equipment?

A homeowner wrote to the old Readers Write section on 2 August 2005 to wonder about our playground equipment. Thank you for your contribution! -Administrator

My family would like to know where have the swings gone? My son would enjoy going to the playground for a swing now and then. I know the board wanted to remove the playground, which I think would be a big mistake. Why should we give up our enjoyment because individuals who are not residents here at Riverbend are hanging out. Why not come up with a good solution to the problem, such as a fence running half way down the property. These individuals most likely wouldn’t expend the energy to walk around the fence! Well……………….where have the swings gone?????????????[homeowner identification omitted]
