Dear Riverbend Homeowners:

We are pleased to advise that the replacement playground project has now been completed. We encourage all of our young residents to use this wonderful new equipment for their enjoyment.

Parents, we strongly suggest that you supervise your young children when they utilize this equipment. The mulch base is to code, and is there to cushion a fall should one occur. Please don’t let your children dig in the mulch base or move the mulch into the lawn area.

We have already noted that children who do not live in our community are abusing this equipment. This investment in our community cost us all approximately $20,000. If you see children playing on the equipment who do not belong in the community, please help us by advising them to leave the property or simply call the Police as they are trespassing. This playground was designed for seven year olds and younger. If you observe older children playing on the equipment, feel free to go out and let them know that they are too old and that Sabella Park is better equipped for their age group. Enjoy, help us to take care of it, as it belongs to all of us.

On another note, we have received feedback from a number of homeowners about the manner in which garbage and recycling is being placed out in the courts for pick-up. We would, therefore, like to reinforce the Association’s policy in this regard. Garbage, may be placed out for pick-up after 7:00 p.m., the night before pick-up. However, if you put your garbage out the night before, it must be put out in garbage cans with lids. Plastic bags may not be put out the night before as they are frequently ripped open by animals during the night leaving our courts in a mess. This also encourages animals to hang around our community because there is a food source. If you wish to use plastic bags instead of containers then your garbage can only be put out for pick-up on the morning of pick-up. The bags must be the black bags which are 2 mil-thick and properly sealed. White trash bags or paper bags from supermarkets are not approved and may not be put out at all.

If you do not comply, you will receive one warning notice and thereafter, a $25.00 fine will be assessed for each time you are noted to be in violation. We thank you for your cooperation and wish everybody a happy Memorial Day and an enjoyable Summer.

Very truly yours,

Dear Homeowner:

Many homeowners have been angered by the “free” newspapers that are delivered weekly, many of which are unwanted. We are attaching copies of forms [Web ed.: see PDF links below] from the Township of North Brunswick that if completed and returned to the Township, should stop this unwanted delivery. This not only includes newspapers, but flyer advertisements and also unwanted solicitations at your front door.

We hope this is of assistance to you.

Also, please find enclosed is your copy of the certified audit for the year ended December 2006.

Very truly yours,
