And thanks to those who supported my late candidacy with their vote. Maybe next time. The Board was a bit inaccurate, though, when they said <blockquote>[Rick] currently monitors an unofficial Riverbend web site.</blockquote> To <em>monitor</em> implies a passive role, while arranging hosting, editing as well as creating content, smoothing technical issues, updating software, and all the other stuff that goes into running a site is absolutely NOT passive. As far as <em>unofficial</em> goes, well, there is no official site. Perhaps the Board would like to consider hosting one? The seldom-updated EPM site seems to provide that option for the communities that they manage. Somehow I doubt that EPM would allow Residents to contribute their own content, as is permitted here.
